14-BP

The QP-38 is a quick disconnect type of water restrictor for the 3/8 hose applications. It comes with a 4, 3 and 2 millimeter restrictor inserts. It is used for controlling water flow through exit passes stingers, head pipes etc. It is valuable to obtain proper water flow pressure and temperatures throughout the exhaust and engine water lines.

The QP-14 is a quick disconnect type like the QP-38, but for the 1/4" hose application. It is designed to be used with the Mikuni main jets. The jets thread into the billet part of the restrictor. This allows quick changes in small increments of water flow. It is valuable in controlling total volume of water into exhaust systems, especially stinger or waterboxes. This kit can also be used on the return lines of carburetors to fine tune fuel pump pressures.

14-BP

The 14-BP is a calibrated bypass. It has a 3mm diameter orifice and it is designed to be used with 1/4" ID hose. It is used where a certain water flow pattern is needed without the need to use a 3/8" hose. An example is the back cylinder area of the cylinder head where only one cooling line is used to cool the engine and overflow is not needed. Another example is on triple cylinder engines where a small bypass is needed to exit off the middle cylinder.
